Ethereum Classic has a significant upgrade in July. In this paragraph we are talking about how it will save users on gas fees. On Monday, developers of the Ethereum Classic blockchain made public a hard fork to implement the project’s latest version. And now as a result they scheduled it to launch in late July.
This upgrade, which the community named it “Magneto,” will contains the four Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIP). Which we first sawin Ethereum’s Berlin upgrade earlier this year.
These offers should improve the network security and safety while saving on gas costs by storing addresses and keys in one place for users to reach with a single transaction.

Beta trial on Ethereum Classic

Beta trial on Ethereum Classic’s Morder and Kotti testnets started on June 2 and June 9, subsequently. The Magneto fork is set to officially happen once these trials have concluded.
Stevan Lohja, developer connections manager at Mant mentioned this to the Ethereum Classic community:
“To ensure a successful fork, we ask ETC consumers to upgrade their node software to a Magneto compatible version if they have not done so already. If you’re not operating nodes or services, but use ETC through other services, then check with that service to ensure they’re supporting the Magneto hard fork.”
In addition to say that Mant is a full featured client and wallet for Ethereum Classic.

What is Ethereum Classic

Ethereum Classic (ETC) originally made under rocky circumstances in 2016. The protocol forked from the Ethereum mainnet because of the $60-million hack of a project famous as “the DAO”. That was an early decentralized autonomous organization.
Following to have benefit, Ethereum’s developers choice to draw back the malicious transactions in try to avoid the hacker and get back the stolen funds to their suitable developers.

Code is law

Some believed that undoing these transactions could have effect one override one of Ethereum’s core tenets. Which it is“Code is law.”
These people had a feeling that it was good to accept the loss and learn from the engineering mistakes. The mistakes that let the hackers to siphon the funds.
As a result, the Ethereum Classic project forked away from Ethereum in a try to maintain. To keep what some people felt was the most true representation of the project’s blockchain.
Back in May 2021, some Ethereum Classic lovers referred to the project as “the wrong Ethereum” as a joke. Which the price increased in excess of 300%. Maybe it happened because of new crypto traders confusing it for Ether (ETH).
